The Millers are a very powerful family. Every Miller has been studying at Calaveras. A private School for magicals (or wizards as normal people usually call us). Collins father, mother and brother has all been to Calaveras and been a top student. Except Collin who's a sophomore at Lake high school. A non magical school. 
Collin try's to feel worthy and fights the feeling of that he is useless. But when you can't do the one thing you were born to do, it's hard.
