In a world that has gone from bad to worse June has done quite well for herself by following a strict code of conduct. A released virus by a vengeful scientist takes a different effect on her which separates her from everyone else. One day while she is on the run from the munchers (Zombies) she runs in some people that turn her world more upside down than it all ready is.

Everyone she is fighting for aren't the same people they once were and Remi is changing too, but is it for better or for worse? Her little group try to survive but as time goes on Remi begins to believe that if the apocalypse doesn't end soon she will die and quickly learns that trusting the wrong people could be fatal.
