"You don't get it. Sam made me feel like the Earth was something he made for me in his tool shed. He told me I was the sun to overview it. What he failed to mention was that the sun has to share with moon." I try to relax before another quiet sob breaks out, but that doesn't seem to be happening.
Dean walks up and wraps his arms around me, engulfing me in an embrace. He kisses my forehead as I continue to sob into his shoulder.
"Love just wasn't meant for people like me."
"Don't you ever say that, Ana." I look up at him to see that those thin, pink lips are formed into a grimace.
"It really pisses me off when you do that."
"Do what?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Do you ever smile?"
"Why should I?"
"You never know who could be falling in love with your smile." I throw a shy smile at him, and he grows a smirk instead of his prior grimace.
"Awe. Are you falling in love with my smile?" My face goes flush. I flail my arms in frustration and walk over to the bar that is my kitchen for a drink. He just keeps smirking at me.
"Did you forget to offer me a drink? Too mesmerized by smile?" I roll my eyes at his arrogant remarks, and continue pouring my rum.
"Come on," He sighs before adding, "How bout I take you out for some ice cream? Would you like that?"
I down the rest of my rum and set the glass on the table. I nod, and go to grab my jacket before heading out with him to his car. Ice cream might not be the smartest idea during fall in the city, but hey... I think it might be needed right about now.
