Vanessa, Sirena, and Avangela are 3 perfectly normal teenage girls. That is, until they come across a mysterious island and fall into the moon pool. Their whole world is flipped around when they find out they are mermaids. 10 seconds after they touch water, they grow long fish-like tails and they develop multiple powers. Throughout their adventure, the girls' friendship and trust is tested, and go through many obstacles.

But she'll find out land is not all its cracked up to be. For one, every time she gets wet she loses her legs and sprouts her tail. Her legs don't come back until she dries off. You can bet that causes trouble. Follow Beyoncé on her journey on land while she tries to fit in. Along the way, she'll find friendship, love, and a couple of enemies.
