Its not that he was always a bully, but once you get in the positon, how can you stop? The power goes to your head. It makes you forget all of your problems because you are forcing new problems onto another person. She wasn't always mute, she is just afraid to speak, afraid of being judged by others if she stuttered. She found herself afraid of even making a sound in front of people. She never knew that the boy who gave her a hard time was doing even worse to himself. He's afraid of opening up and she is afraid of him, who would have thought they would end up saving each other?
