Deborah had always been in the background. Living in Montana in the middle of nowhere had given her a serenely quiet yet dull place to grow up. But as her sixteenth birthday approaches she decides that it's time for a change and pushes herself to become more social. This leads her attention to focus upon star football player, Ashton Branwen.
Ashton was brought up to be the best and fought hard to keep both his grades and game day performances top notch. He realizes, much to his dismay, that his life has become vapid. He can't find any real challenges anymore until he meets Deborah. She might be his way to reaffirm that he can still overcome any obstacle... if he can woo her, that is. Making his new goal to get a nobody to fall in love with him backfires when he realizes that instead of her harmlessly falling for him, he has become hopelessly attracted to the very pale eyed beauty he has set out to conquer.
