Sasha Roe, seventeen, has been in the foster system for the past eleven years. Nobody seems to care about her. That is, until she gets left once again and is forced to make a decision on either going back to New York or stay in Highlands, NJ with a woman she doesn't know but raised "the" Derek Zeller until he got adopted. Derek Zeller was pushed into her life and she didn't know what to think or do. She doesn't have time for guys in her life right now... Will they make it through life's struggles together or will they go their separate ways?
