Fourteen-and-a-half year old Chesire Summit has always been put down and looked at as a troubled child, and she's sick and tired of it, so to prove her tormentors wrong, she conjures up her own villains, sending them to rampage the city just so she can defeat them and bathe in glory. She wants to be seen as the hero for once.

Munro Levant has the ability to time-travel. It's his umpteenth time going back in time to save Chesire before everything becomes too out of hand - before she dies AGAIN, but as he travels back more and more, he begins losing sight of the primary mission (keep Chesire's monsters at bay) and falls harder for the girl he loves.
