Katie Blarez has been living in New York for just over a year now and her new life has proven to be rather... uneventful. So, to fix her new-life-blues, she decides to call up one of her old friends, Abby Kalvins, to cheer her up. Katie begins to fall ill and Abby must leave Katie to go back to her home in Ashington. But strange things begin to happen after Abby departs, leaving Katie to wonder whether she will ever see Abby again. This is my entry for KC-Blares' Mega-One-Shot-Contest. Enjoy :)

That is until she meets Rebecca her college roommate with ugly dresses, fidgety fingers and a spunky personality that reminds her a little bit of Bethany. And then there is Adam the boy with golden eyes and golden hair. From the very first moment they shook hands her body ignited in a way it had never before. Zara is 17 year's old. Her mum, a famous fashion designer and dad, a photographer, travel the world for their work, only coming back to the family home once every now and then. Because of this situation, Zara's older brothers Luca, 23 and Adam, 20 have become her legal guardians. They live in a grand mansion in London that their parents pay for and live a nice lifestyle. When Zara was 9 she suffered a terrible ordeal and finds it hard to trust people other than her brothers and their 4 mates that shes become close with over the years but then the group recruit a new member, Jamie. Jamie is a tall and attractive 20 year old with short brown hair. He takes an instant liking towards Zara but she cant trust him and has to slowly welcome him into her life, something he doesnt understand. But he gains her trust and discovers her secret, giving her exactly what she needs the most, Reassurance.Complete
