I'm Gone

I gave you everything , and what I had received was the fear of rejection.

because whether you were to reject me as your own I still wanted the love I never received from you.

I gave you my rose it darkened in your hands , you crushed it until it crumbled and i still wanted everything to do with you.

because it wasn't the fear of you leaving but the fear that you would never love me.
