Andie has gotten her third strike in breaking the rules: snooping around like Nancy Drew in the middle of the night and not telling any one were she is and getting kidnapped. But she wasn't the only one snooping.
Aria calls the cops after she sees Andie being bound and thrown into the back of a semi truck, and bugs Andie afterward about seeing ghosts at night, thinking the favor would help her chances, knowing Andie has the same problem and believes she can help her.
When there grandmas come to Maine for a visit, Andie and Aria are recruited to be ghost hunters or Tracers. On a route, Andie and her prankster partner, Kaden, are attacked by Kreepers, people who catch and torture innocent souls.
Determined to stop the cult from there evil, Aria and Andie set out to stop them, not knowing the enemy right in front of them.
