Fearless

I was always a quirk. A flaw. I did not have their brown hair or their chocolate eyes. But they couldn't do anything about it. You can't fix a broken gene. And so they sent me off to be raised with all of the other children, while keeping me utterly isolated. I was "Horrible Haddie." A mistake. And the other children loved letting me know.

This was what I've always blamed for these....Feelings. Because when all of the other children had stopped crying or laughing or smiling, I couldn't help doing any of them. And then, I made the worst mistake. I felt something for a boy. Love.

Haddie is in deep trouble, condemned to death for feeling a little too intensely in a world where emotions are sins. But when she finds herself in an entirely new world while running from the police, everything seems to fall into place. While the rambunctious Matt and the beautiful Dalyn harbor her and keep her safe from the guards patrolling this place where none of them belong, she begins to realize that her emotions are not unusual.

But will she be able to handle the sudden stream of emotions she's always suppressed and still keep herself and her new partners in crime safe? Or will she be overwhelmed by the fear and panic, and the unexpected love?
