"Sebastian, I'm just going to make simple for the both of us right now. I hate you." He took a step back as if he had just been slapped in the face.

"Eve please-"

"No Sebastian, I hate you so much. I hate that you're leaving without telling you're bestfriend, I hate you, I hate you, I HATE YOU!" I stopped yelling those words long enough to let the tears spill against the icy pavement. When I looked up again to see Sebastian, I thought I would never be able to erase the look of hurt and regret from my mind.

"I'm glad you're leaving." With those parting words, I turned around and walked towards my house. 

I didn't look back when he called my name, his voice slicing through me, my willpower nearly so weak I was tempted to turn around and run back into his arms. But I didn't, I just kept walking, never looking back. I knew I never would again.
