New kid Tommy Hughes arrives at Cadence high only to quickly befriend a group of three quirky musicians. Nearing the point of giving up their search for a guitarist, Helen, Izzy, and Sparks soon discover that Tommy has been playing the guitar for years and ask him to join their band “Spellbound.” Unfortunately when the already well-known band at their school, “The Nameless,” hears of his talents, they urge Tommy to join their band as rhythm guitarist. Torn between a group of friends and a promising gig, Tommy has to choose which band to join.
