An aging retired cop/ex-Marine has a lot of regret and little time due to a terminal cancer diagnosis. In an effort to become a better person, he tries to purge himself of his prejudices while he fights the disease. Along the way, he befriends an African-American ex-con and fellow patient who also seeks redemption for his past misdeeds. They share a guilty conscience and their distaste for the things that are wrong in the world, as well as those who are perpetrating evil upon others, and team up to do something about it with the time they have left. Their target is a priest who has been accused of molesting children, and their obstacles are many. Posted here on Wattpad are the first two chapters for review and comment.
