Life at the Pionscor Academy of Magic is amazing - that is, if you're a member of the Wyvern Style. For us vampires and other outcasts in the Ketu Style, it's a second-class existence in the oldest parts of the school. We're the ones who would never have been invited if it wasn't law. But life as a Ketu isn't all that bad. We get to leave campus whenever we want; we get away with a lot more than the other Styles; and I get to have classes with the absolutely amazing Rex Troffel.
