Bronwen (Bronnie) Hughes is seventeen-years-old and has just moved across the country with her mom from Pittsburgh to California. However, unlike most people, they didn't move in order to invest in a new house or for a new job, instead, the reason they moved was solely the result of Bronnie's dream of becoming a dancer... Bronnie has danced her entire life, it's all she's ever wanted and it's all she's ever known. Don't get me wrong, she's intelligent and does very well in school - but to Bronnie - a life without dance isn't really a life at all. So here she is in sun-kissed California where dreams come true, right...? Now meet Elijah Pérez he's eighteen-years-old and the bad boy of Crosswood High, which just so happens to be Bronnie's new high school. He's everything you'd think a bad boy would be; he's destructive, cruel, sleeps around, lives to fight and is just downright sexy. But is everything you hear true? I mean, he is devastatingly gorgeous and has been in his fair share of fights, but is he actually heartless and brutally cruel? California is a lot more than just dance auditions and beaches - which Bronnie is about to learn the hard way. In order for her to get into the most prestigious dance school in the world, she's going to have to stay focused and put everything she has into preparation for her final audition in New York City. I mean, how hard can that be as long as she doesn't get distracted? But that's the problem, Eli might just be the biggest distraction she's had yet, but that's not necessarily a bad thing - as she's about to find out. "Everyone is born with a heartbeat, but only the rarest of people are born with a beat in their heart." ************** If you haven't already, please read my first book 'We Are Infinite'. Also, read the Author's Note at the beginning of the book, it's important that you do so. I really hope you enjoy this book! Catch you later, Criminals :)

BOOK TWO IS UP HIGHEST RANKINGS- #1 out of 6k in living- #1 out of 958 in Leukemia-#2 out of 1.14k in cancer patient--#18 out of 14.2k in parents. Thanks to everyone for 1k reads and the rankings! Y'all are amazing! JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS- I AM RE WRITING MOST OF THE CHAPTERS SO IT MIGHT BE A BIT MESSED UP. THERE ARE THINGS I NEED TO CHANGE BUT THE BOOK WILL STILL BE UP AND ONGOING. ~IMPORTANT: To anyone who might think the plot of the story is similar to someone else, I want you to know that while it may sound like it is, it is not. Yes, she lives with multiple boys, but it will not be like other stories. I have read a couple of the other stories like this, and I'm going to make sure that it is not similar to the other stories. Now continue to the summary ~ Besides her brother, Claira "Claire" Johnson only had her mom and her dad. Until she didn't. Her parents have been arrested for murder, leaving Clara and her brother Mason parent-less. No body knew what to do because they refused to be put in foster care or homes, so they asked their parents. After multiple tests and background checks, they are now being taken to her parents friends house. 2580 miles from their home in Massachusetts. Into the sunny city of LA. She wasn't to upset about having to move, seeing as all of her friends left her when they found out her parents are murderers, but now she is. Why? Because in this new house, she has to live with 7 other boys besides her brother. Now she has to learn to adapt to her new home.
