Rose is a 17 year old blind omega she-wolf. She lives with her father and her brother Max who is 18. Rose's mother died during child birth of who was going to be her little sister Agnatha. Ever since her mother and sister's passing, Rose has been finding it difficult to open up to anyone but her brother and her best friend Joyce. 

Rose is a rare type of wolf. Her wolf is completely and utterly black with deep piercing blue eyes. Only her family, the pack, and Joyce know about it. But her friend Joyce thinks it has to do with her blindness. You see, Rose can see through her wolf's enhanced hearing, every sound is like a sonar detection, mapping out what is around her. 

But she is worried about what her mate will think of her being blind. Rose is her pack's strongest warrior and give her high respect and see her blindness as a gift from the Moon Goddess. But one day when a neighboring pack's alpha (Alpha Xavier Jackson) comes over for a Alpha Gathering Ceremony that takes place in Rose's pack once a year. Then she finds out he is her mate and she is scared of what he will think of her.

It bared fangs the size of her hand alone dipping its head. Had her touch angered the animal into finally attacking her? She kept moving backward in the rain, slipping in her converses as the creature continued growling. It was then she knew she was prepared to run, no matter what happened.
