Adam had been living a rather quiet life as long as he can remember. However, his whole world is flipped upside-down. while he was rock climbing with some fellow villagers. A change was made and Adam and his acquaintances were given a gift, and yet, a curse. When about to die or when killed, they change form and hibernate for a long time until re-awaken. One day, Adam awakes to a peaceful land which soon goes to war. As he regains conciseness after being awake from his slumber, he meets Jessica and vows to protect her at all costs. although the slumber is the only power he has, he finds a prophecy that tells him what to do in order to save the world. Along the way, he encounters an old enemy who has a similar power and is always haunting Adam.
