Rain isn't happy that school is starting, but she is getting excited about the upcoming volleyball season. It means spending more time with her teammates and friends, and playing the sport that she loves. This story follows Rain through her first three weeks of eighth grade. During this time, Rain learns that she has an admirer. As the days go on, she finds out that one of her teammates has a crush on him. To make matters worse, the boy has ties to a man that hurt her mother. Will Rain choose friendship and family, or will she choose love?
