She whirled around, eyes dancing with fire. "Why won't I trust you? Jase, it was so obvious you slept with her! The way you looked at her, it was full of love!"
"It was in a brotherly way!" I protested.
Tears sprang to her eyes. "Up till now, you're still denying, huh? Well then. Don't worry, Jase. I did something far worse than what you did."
Panic engulfed me. "What? What did you do?"
She stared at me, voice laced with bitterness. "Stayed home and trusted you."

Jase's life was full of tragedies. First, his twin Sister died in a fatal accident. His parents loathed him, and wished he was dead. Depressed, was the only emotion he had.
Jase had learned not to give satisfaction to those people who put him down. He became a shell of himself --- cold, emotionless.
