After losing her sister, Miriam is stuck to face the real world all alone as an orphan. She lives with her mute grandmother in kaduna, far away from everyone in her past life. With the loss of an immediate family, could there be anything left for Miriam to depend on?
 
Kauna is a supposedly homeless little girl known as 'maiya', a witch, because of a rumor spread several years ago. She is a rejection to everyone around her, expect her mother.

One stormy evening, Kauna and her mother were sitting opposite Miriam's house when Miriam lets them stay over till the rain was over. Little did she know her kindness to these supposedly homeless people was going to lead to something unexpectedly different.
