Dying Heart (On Hold)

Kelsie is an eighteen year old high school senior who has started her summer off on the wrong foot. Her doctor says she has leukemia and her pain proves him true. But no matter what Kelsie refuses to believe she's dying. In her attempt to escape the harsh words she moves to California to live with her dad. There she meets a really nice boy named Jacob. He doesn't know about her sickness and is a happy go getter determined to make Kelsie happy whenever she is down. Things start to get rough as she moves swiftly through the stages of leukemia and everyone is feeling the pressure. Can Kelsie be the first to over come leukemia, or will she die trying?
