"Listen Megan I'm not a good guy and I don't know if I ever will be. What I do know is How to break a heart, don't let me break yours."
Gulping I took a deep breath, "What if I told you I didn't have a heart to break."
Matthew arches an eyebrow at me as he took a long puff of his cigarette.
"What are you getting at little red?"
"I'm saying what if I didn't get hurt. I just want your knowledge on guys now. If I can't be with you, help me to be a girl guys drool for. And I promise no strings attached."
"What do I get out of this little deal of ours," he throws his cigarette on the ground stepping on it, pushing himself off of the school's red brick walls.
"Well if you succeed then you can say you made the geekiest girl at Anderson High, the most desirable girl. Everyone would consider you a miracle worker, I mean look at me," I make a hand gesture to myself.
"No strings attached, Eh?"
"None at all," I reply. There's a long pause and I'm afraid he'd refuse my offer just as he had refused my declaration of my undying love for him.
"You have yourself a deal little red," he extends his left hand for me to shake.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
