Takeuchi was one of SAO's survivors. He converted and transfered his game data into his new Amusphere so that he could play Athysra alongside her sister.

They both played the new VRMMORPG Athysra. The goal of the game is to help your race to reach the center of the world and destroy the hell's gate.
