The Road So Far // Supernatural

In Kansas, there was a small family that lived in a beautiful house. John and Mary Winchester, and their two sons Sam and Dean. Dean was about four and Sam was only about a year old. They were almost a perfect family, until the night perfect fell apart.

About five miles away, there was a girl, somewhere in between four and five years old, and her parents. They lived in a big house for just the three of them, they had a big, beautiful backyard, but they were far from perfect. That little girl would come to be known as Dani rather than her birth name Danielle.

Years later the girl's parents threw her out into the streets and she was told to get lost. All she had was the clothes on her back and a switchblade in her pocket. She was on her own for months, in the unforgiving woods of Kansas, that is until a man by the name of Bobby Singer found her. He was out looking for Wendigos, but found her instead. He was glad he got to her before they had, or she would've died in the woods. Little did he know, she had been there for almost a year and they hadn't came near her.

Dani automatically became Bobby's daughter, in their eyes at least, until the adoption papers were signed. Bobby taught her how to hunt, drive and fix the car she was driving. Her name was no longer Danielle Thomas, but Dani Singer, and she liked it that way.
