That's my name, but growing up I wasn't quite sure of who I really am. I was the girl who didn't talk. At some point I started to forget what my voice sounded like. I often used a small white board or a journal to talk for me. At least then, I had an eraser. See, when one speaks they can't take back their words. Talking is typically a decision made unpremeditatedly. A sentence one begins is expected to be finished. Plus, it's not uncommon for one's words to go unheard.

Jethro Xavier Angeli
He's who this story is really about. He made sure my silence had the loudest voice. I never felt invisible around him. I have here a series of notes I'd written to him. Words I wished I could tell him. Words I never could. Now, my only hope is that he will one day stumble upon this collection.

And, Jethro?
If you are reading this, know that I love you. Or rather, loved. You know how this story ends, but here's the story from my point of view. The untold perspective.

Here's to you.
