When Emma Christiansen was enrolled into a former delinquent school, it wasn't at all what she expected. She's there to figure out who's behind the trafficking and cartel by posing as a fierce, firecracking rebellion of a student - which is most definitely not her description.

She gets pulled in deep, too deep to climb her way back up. And when she finally learns the dark truths about this school, and the task she is trying to fulfill, there's no way she can fight her way through their high walls to get the hell out.

So what happens when she has to stay, learn to defend herself - and the baddest of the bad find out about her little secrets? There's more to every person than what meets the eye, and Emma finds out that there's much, much more to him than his reckless behavior and brooding ways.

He decides he's going to teach her how to be a true misfit, and keep hr many secrets - but only if she teaches him how to love.

Emma found love to be a myth long ago, but decided to make the deal for her and her brother's sake. She's had her fair share of heartbreak, and the guy that she loves sees her as nothing more than unbiological family. Can she possibly learn to change that?

Love, heartbreak, lies and betrayal all align to make Emma's life one hell of an experience.
