❞ Words hurt. Words break you, leave you in pieces. They hurt more like a thousand knives. ❞ Noah Carson is an unhappy person, he is the victim of bullying at school. Being called names or being in physical pain is a part of his daily life and he believes everything he is told. All the words haunt him every day and he is broken. Noah pushes everyone away and he has problems letting anyone in. But what happens when someone moves into the house that was across the street, including a teenage boy that caught Noah's attention from the second he saw him? Will he be the one who finally hears Noah's screams for help, or will he be yet another person that breaks him? » this sounds pretty cliché, I'm aware; I wrote this in 2012 but published it as a fanfiction on @carsunderwater, I wanted to share the re-written, non-fic version.

Jude doesn't talk. He can't, even when he wants to. They don't want to hear what he has to say, and they only use their words to hurt him. So why even try anymore? Starting at a new school seems like the perfect opportunity to blend into the background, but it isn't far enough away to start over. Some people just won't let him forget about his past. The teachers don't understand. He can't tell them why. He can't say anything at all. Ross understands. Ross writes to him. Slowly, he pulls Jude out of his shell, waiting for him to say something. ----- Say Something is a story of overcoming fear with the help of friendship and love. As someone who has struggled with anxiety, I tried to do something a little different with my writing style this time by including a lot of thoughts and feelings rather than a ton of description and detail. I'd like to add that it mentions things like sex and violence but I don't plan on going into any graphic detail in this story. There is also occasional cursing. I hope you give it a chance and leave feedback for me as I post new chapters over time. Thank you so much for checking it out!
