The sound of hoof beats on the icy ground behind me made me run faster. I knew it was pointless to run. He would always find his mate. There was no way for me to out run him. I could hear him catching up to me. the closer he got, the more scared I became. My wolf crying out to me to stop and go to our mate. But, I wouldn't. I could never go to him willing. Suddenly, I felt his hands close around my waist and I was lifted off of my feet. He tucked me onto his lap and quite abruptly brought his horse to a halt. "You are mine, Mate," he said it so close to me that I could feel his breath on my ear. I shivered from his words, afraid to even breathe a word, "You are mine.... Forever!" And with that said, he turned his horse around and headed towards the castle that would forever be my home. His breath made me want to lean into his chest and accept him with every fiber of my being. Even though my wolf was screaming at me to embrace my mate and accept him. I could never love him after what he has done to me. Not after what he has taken from me. Staring ahead of me, I didn't even notice the snow that started to fall. I remember that horrible disaster from my past. I knew I could withstand him at whatever costs. But that's not what I was scared me. There is no escape, I am his forever.

You're walking down the street, with earbuds in after work. It's a cold autumn night. A pack of 5 wolves came careening around the corner. They halted when they saw you. They barreled towards you with great speed. You fell backwards in fear. As they were about to attack you when a man ran in between you and the pack. The wolves stopped, baring their teeth and snarling. A low hiss came from the man. The wolves backed away. The man extended his hand and you placed her hand in his. His touch was as cold as ice. "Thank you," you said as he gently pulled you up. You looked into his eyes, blood red. His blonde hair shone beautifully and you could see he was muscular. You stare into each other's eyes for a moment when he turned into the nearby alleyway and was gone. Will you see him again?
