I will say this once, this story is a mixing of the Marvel universe and the Rick Riordan universe. I do not own either, all ideas, characters and settings go to the true owners. I do not profit from this and am only writing this because I deeply enjoy these worlds and want to see more of them. Some ideas characters and setting are my original ideas or are in the public domain. Also the cover and other photos are stuff I found online, I don't know who they belong to but all rights go to them, and @The creators, they look amazing.

Now on to the actual description.

Those who have lived long enough know that great people aren't just born. Nor do they become great on their own, No, instead they grow with those around them, shaping each other and altering their destinies. Thus was the case of when the red stained woman met the child of the sea.

In my story Percy is Polygender, which is when a person experiences being multiple genders, sometimes at the same time and with different intensities. Due to stuff Percy can literally physically change their gender to match what they feel or to what gender they want to appear as.

I have messed with the timeline and characters ages a bit, I have done this in order to make the story flow better and make more sense. I have also changed parentage. Eventually I want to make a large family tree but, right now that would reveal some key plot details and thus won't be made. Also I have not fully read the Trials of Apollo or the Magnus Chase books, therefore whatever happens in either of the series will have little to no impact on my work.

Sorry the description is getting long but this book will have death (bad guy death) which will not be overly graphic, blood, mentions of sex but nothing graphic and swearing, lots of swearing.

Life of A Young Demigod: Book 1 (Percy Jackson reader insert) by ClarendonI
25 parts Complete
COMPLETED! This is a m!reader-insert fic based in the Percy Jackson universe, as I imagine you can tell. I'm just starting this (as of early March 2023), and have very little writing experience, at least with this style, so forgive me if it begins a bit rough, I will likely go back and clean things up later on once I'm a bit more experienced. I intend this to be fairly strict in terms of major canon relationships and such, I don't have a problem with people who change them and actually quite like a number of stories that do, but I'd like to try something other than the 50th readerxannabeth fic (dont yell at me I actually enjoy those). I also will not be having (Y/N) "take Percy's place" in any way. Again, I have no problem with others who write this way, but it is not how I want to do it. I grew up with Rick's superb writing, and I don't intend to make any fundamental changes to Percy's story. It is great as is and I don't exactly feel qualified to change it. Perhaps I will get more ambitious as I go along, but I am fairly certain of this at the moment. (Y/N)'s story is complimentary. It will of course involve many changes to events, new events, and even slight lore changes to make things work, but it will all make sense within the original framework and hopefully won't be too jarring. In terms of long term plans. I aim to at least get through the end of HoO. That'll probably take a good year or so, so I think that's a solid aim for now. I'm from Long Island, so expect a LOT of specific LI and NY references here and there. Think of them as fun easter eggs :) Books one and two are going to fairly brief compared to the later ones. They're not short by any means, they'll be a solid 3 hour read each, but the later ones will be notably longer. Enjoy!
