"I don't want you picking up Alex from school alone anymore," he said casually while I was cooking supper. Chris Ellis, my husband of 5 years, has always been quite over-protective. When we first started dating he always wanted to know what I was doing, or who I was with. I never thought much of it, I thought it was cute. Everything has changed now.
