The Young Witch's Memory

The world is a dark, cold place for anything magick, especially for the humans who can use it. This is a fact Miko learned at a young age after the orphanage she belonged to reported her as a witch when she was only eleven years old. Saved by her normal best friend, Shen, she was able to escape execution. Realizing the future Shen would face if anyone discovered their connection, Miko uses her powers to erase her existence from his memory. Four years later, Miko is living in an underground city of magic full of humans with powers and beasts of myth. As the city begins falling apart, Miko makes a journey to the world above to retrieve a magic stone that was stolen in ancient times, which would restore the city to the magnificence it once was. Upon her arrival to the surface though, she has a surprise encounter with a familiar face she hasn't seen in four years...
