Caroline's best friend and another detective. He tries desperately to help Caroline out and find the murderer, but will he be able to catch the killer, when Caroline's life is at risk? Kaitlyn: Another self doubting detective. Insecure about herself, yet brilliant. Her only ally is her best friend Cole Briggs. But will she be able to stay her her proper, sensible self, when Cole is attacked and almost killed? All three need to catch the killer, for purposes more than just profession. Everybody has something at risk, somebody's life at risk. But what to do when the only lead is a mental patient who can't even talk? The roller coaster takes a turn in a complete new direction, and takes Caroline, Marcus and Kaitlyn along, to discover things they could've never perceived.
