Are you one of those people who like to trek but do not like the altitude? Then this trek is perfect for you. Dudh Kunda is a place where you can enjoy the seamless beauty of the nature. People from around the world come here to enjoy the natural lake that lies in the lower solu valley.
From Pikey, taking after a winding plunge, we enter Solu Valley at Taktor. At that point, going through the Gompa of Shey Lo - once an essential setting for Sherpa researchers, we touch base in Junbesi. Here, at this excellent town set in the midst of fine timberlands, we rest for a day and discover time to visit the town religious community, thought to be the most established in Solu, and the nearby secondary school, established by Sir Edmond Hillary. After Junbesi, our goal is the Thubten Cholin religious community, a cloister of Thushi Rimpoche who pass away couple year prior.

Our course forward takes us to Pungmuche, once a noteworthy religious focus and home to over a thousand friars. The remaining parts of numerous reflection cabins can at present be seen today, scattered among the stones on the encompassing slope. At a small amount of its previous size, Phungmoche is currently home of the recently settled Himalayan Sherpa Buddhist School. Here, we remain with the gompa's head lama, and take in more about its fascinating history.

From Phungmoche, we climb north-east and go through some Yak crowding stations to land at the holy ice sheet lake site of Dudh Kunda. Consistently amid the full-moon amongst July and August, a huge number of enthusiasts come here to bathe to pay their praise to Shiva.

At long last, we start our plunge down into the heart of Solu; joining villagers making there path to the Saturday bazaar in Naya Bazaar. This Dudh Kunda Cultural Trek closes the following day with a stunning flight along the Himalayas to Kathmandu.
