Cassidy has the  evil step mother, a step sister, and prince charming, except this is no fairy tale. It hasn't for the past four years with her boyfriend Sam but, new guy, Hayden, who transforms from an annoying frog to a comforting friend (And it didn't even take a kiss) seems to come in and challenge said " true love". He's a prince in a pauper's clothing. Hayden and Cass are evenly matched in the art of smart-assery, but he also doesn't seek to change her the way Sam does. He sees through her like no one can, but who is he? Are his motivations as pure as they seem?
   It's her senior year, and all Cassidy wants is to be Queen of the Charity Ball. It's what propels her through the Hell that is High school. To get there, she needs money. She's filthy rich. Problem solved, right? Wrong.
    The company goes bankrupt and Cass's dream turns into a quest. She has to get a job and work for her crown. Cindy, the perfect little step sister, gets a new friend who seems to make all of her wishes come true, like being in the running for Queen. Prince Charming becomes less Charming and her friends take on their true form as enemies. How will the girl who has it all react to losing it all?

"That is the sugarcoated version"he said and I blinked few times. I glared hard at him. "The pole didn't hide you well. I could see your cardigan peeking out"he said and I rolled my eyes at him. "Now time for my revenge" he whispered. I had a confused look on while he had his infamous smirk on. This can't be good! I felt something trickle down my body. I wiped my face and glared daggers at him. He didn't just pour flour on me even though I did the same. Isn't he suppose to be the mature one in this relationship? Putting on a poker face. "Mature much!" I said and walked away from him pretending to be angry. Time for acting! "Come on babe, you can't ..." This book is amazing so y'all BETTER TRY IT OUT!! Thanks for sticking with me.

Jace Summers is not your average high school boy, per se. He prefers being himself no matter what anyone else thinks about him, and he's proud of who he is. He has pastel pink hair, stunning deep brown eyes, and a sweet and silky voice that makes all of the girls swoon. Too bad he's gay though, and everyone knows it. Jace has been out to the world since seventh grade and he never got too much trouble from it, which he is thankful for, but he knows he would be okay even if he was bullied harshly. It's just who he is. Alec Walker is a whole other story, however. He is very basic, brown hair, hazel eyes, all-black attire, and he is well-known throughout the school but he doesn't consider himself to be one of the popular kids. He loves skateboarding and singing, has good grades. There's nothing overly unique about him- except his voice could make angels swoon. Both boys are different but not so different that you'd think they would dislike each other. Well, you would be wrong. They hate each other with burning passions. Sorry- hate is a strong word. They loathe each other with deep burning passions. Jace thinks Alec is a jackass know-it-all because that's how he comes off to a lot of people until you get to know him, and Alec thinks Jace is annoying with how he presents himself. Those seem like small things that could be easily overcome, however it's also their encounters in the halls or in classes that cause problems. By now it's just mutual hate that both boys are too stubborn to give up. But when one day they get news that seems like the end of the world... it turns out to be the best thing that has happened to both of them. Not at first, but with time. Read to find out what happens! (Also- it is a mystery to even me how long this story will be. I'll be posting chapters as I finish and we'll see how long it turns out to be.
