Meet Jessica. She is 15, turning 16, and lives a pretty normal life. Well, as normal as you can get with a super-rich, over-protective father who believes your best friend is out to get you. When her 16th birthday comes, she's wishing for a nice, small celebration; her father acting caring for once, her friends with her the whole day, eating ice-cream until they feel sick, then lounging on the sofa watching films. But instead, her father decides to ruin this rose-tinted reverie with the news that he's dragging Jess along to a business event instead to dance with rich old men.
Jessica is devistated, but still, dreaded dance comes and goes, a thoroughly miserable affair. And that night, something extraordinary happens.
Follow Jess and her friends as they are whisked away into another world, a terrible war iminent. Will they be able to cope with the huge responsibility of stopping the fighting, or will they crumble under the pressure...?

The next day, Nathan tries to find the girl he danced with the previous night, by asking all the girls at Allenwood if it was their mask. Little did he know, that his last choice was Selena. Will Nathan stop bullying her, or will he bully her more? Will her step-mother find out that she left the house? Will Selena get pulled out of Allenwood? What will her step-mother do to her?
