Arizona Parkins was just your average 16 year old girl. She swam for her school team, was head of the Art Club, had a small group of insanely good friends, and was always infuriatingly peppy and cheerful. Until one day, everything changed. Her best friend committed suicide, and left Arizona heartbroken, torn, and depressed. As she sinks into sadness, Arizona starts to lose piece after piece of the person she once was. One day as Arizona is sifting through the remains of her past life, she finds a journal. The journal holds letters and passages that are addressed to Arizona. As she reads through the book, she starts to realize that things were going wrong long before she noticed. Struggling with extreme depression and overcome with emotions, Arizona decides to start writing back, if only as a way to console her broken self. Arizona is slowly on her way to recovery, until one day, she finds a letter written back. Then, everything changes. 

As Arizona embarks on the journey from Then, to Now, to After, she starts to realize that true colors shine differently in everyone.  Her journey of fixing all her broken pieces is underway, with a little bit of help from some unexpected friends.

Alvin helps him find his worth, take control, and makes his life easier, or so he seems. His best friends, Killian and Ruby, know Alfie inside and out. They know his family life, school life. And this is because Alfie is a simple person. He has never had a detention, nor has he been expelled. He's a straight A student with no history of alcohol or drug abuse. Will they suspect anything? How will Alfie proceed with his excruciating pain. Will he cover it up or will he find the courage to speak up and seek help?

I run to my house and lock myself in my bathroom. I don't bother closing the front door cause I don't care if people come in to kill me. I grab my razor and cut deep cuts into my arm and wrists falling into a pool of my own blood. • • • Evangeline has a great life. Friends? Check! Good grades? Check! Loving family? Check! But what if she has secrets that nobody knows of? What if the only thing she can trust is her secret diary? What if slowly but surly she's dying inside? How can an innocent twelve year old deal with these problems? Will she keep on facing these problem till the day she breaks. Her school burns down forcing her into a different school to meet different people and she has to fit into a different lifestyle as well. Meet Evangeline. Now at 17 years of age in a new high school. Not all girls anymore. No uniform. Meet Drake. Your classic bad-boy. He just moved to Saint Abigail high school. He is assigned partners with the quiet, calm, unnoticed Evangeline.
