Met Cali, the first time you'll see her is at the early age of fourteen. She's close with her brother George, (Sargent) and her brothers best-friend, Ian. They're both three years older than Cali, but include her in everything they can. Ian is in love with Cali, but neither Cali nor her brother knows.
Ian has to move, leaving Cali and Sargent behind. Before he leaves he gives Cali his phone number. She never uses it, never felt the need to. Until Sargent goes off into the Army and comes off as dead. She calls everyone who she feels needs to know.
