Cimmerian: people who live in darkness. The world around us as we know it had ceased to exist. Darkness was all that's left.

What happens when the people that created us come back to fix what we messed up? Haidyan ruler of the Cimmerian people has been gifted with many things: the ability to see the future, to get rid of enemies with the snap off a finger, shape shifting; and many other powers bestowed upon him by the spirits. So when he sees the ruins of a planet caused by his peoples creations he didn't know what was going to be in store for him in order to fix it. 

Let alone that he was going to meet the most annoyingly stubborn and special creation of them all. Alyian.

Alyian was just a girl when the sun stopped shining and the human race was taken into the hands of the Cimmerian people. She had instantly met the beautiful but deadly child Haidyan. As they grew he was cruel but kind. Dark but full of light and how is it he's planning on saving the human race if what he's doing is putting them into slavery. 

She will stop at nothing to try and free herself of his clutches and he will stop at nothing to keep her in his arms.
