One day, Bill comes to Dipper with a proposition: Let him stay at the Mystery Shack until he gets the thing he needs, and afterward, Bill will leave the entire Pines family alone. Dipper eventually gets everyone to agree and Bill stays for the duration of the summer at Gravity Falls. He soon grows to like Bill more and more as the days wear on.
