He chuckled to the boy's ear while Ned was feeling something sharp scrape his redden earlobe, slowly going down to his neckline. 

Facing your demons is hard, and so is fucking with them after they suck your blood unexpectedly. 

Ned knew it was difficult to move back into his old hometown after years of being away, everything is going to be different to him. The places, atmosphere and the people around Ned, like being a stranger to your own house.

It doesn't help that Ned is shy meek nerd and talks softly towards new people he meets, although after encountering the school's most dangerous bad guy who Ned happens to unknowingly pissed off. 

Ned wasn't counting on becoming the scary badboy's new interest, and Ned also wasn't aware he's a hungry vampire.
