This is based 2 months after the 2nd How To Train Your Dragon Movie. Hiccstrid is madly in love but Hiccup is still grieving over the loss of his father. To make matters worse, a dark force has awoken.....and its heading for Berk. Will the dragon riders be able to stop this new evil, or will Berk be lost forever??? This book mostly follows Hiccstrid's journey.
