It's been four months since Rachel Andric ended the war for The Story and became engaged to Guy of Gisborne. Since then, she's been juggling preparations for her wedding as well as her new role as Morpheus, the goddess of sleep. Everything has been perfect until the night before her wedding, Guy disappears and one of her friends is incapacitated with an old wound. Recruiting friends old and new, Rachel pursues her fiance into The Story in search of the truth. But as she searches for Guy, she finds that he may not have disappeared against his will. While she looks for Guy, Will Scarlet is dragged from his Story by an unknown source and finds himself conducting his own search for truth on a subject feared by all members of The Story: Final Death. Will and Rachel's separates quests are taking them on a path to something neither understands. To a hidden enemy who wants them dead. A name plagues their quests, a mysterious figure behind The Story. Who is The Editor? More importantly, what is The Editor's goal?

Sequel to Rachel Andric and The Story, book 2 in the series.

Niccola is a demi-queen undercover in enemy territory. Her little sister went missing seven moons ago, but one lead remains: a picture of a woman's face, drawn by a diviner shortly after the disappearance. Tracking her down has led Niccola to Calis, the realm next door whose border with her own remains closed for a reason. There, the trail goes cold. Until, that is, Niccola runs into a man in the marketplace who bears a family resemblance to the woman she seeks. His name is Isaiah, crown prince of Calis, and he's investigating disappearances, too. They join forces, faking courtship to sneak Niccola into the palace and get Isaiah's wedding-minded mother off his back. It doesn't take long to suspect that a common threat might underpin both their realms' problems. And as Niccola begins to develop real feelings for Isaiah, she's faced with an impossible choice: reveal her secrets and risk breaking his trust, or leave him in order to chase down the woman who stole her sister... a woman whose forbidden magic comes with a cost that could bring both realms to ruin. ❖❖❖ Complete and fully edited. Dear Mister Sandman

* Past my bedtime story Volume 1. * "So, you're some sort of Sandman?" Morpheus closed his eyes at her question. There wasn't a word he hated more. This whole Sandman legend was making this job very difficult, especially when it was a matter of life and death... Charlotte Denver, preferably called Charlie has had nightmares ever since she was a young child. The now twenty-four year old couldn't remember when exactly it started, but she knew it was getting worse each year. Now desperate to get in a good night's sleep more than ever, she resorts to a new method her therapist suggested. Wearing her body out by walking or running each night. And each night, she would have someone watch her. Someone, who would soon realize that maybe Charlie's nightmares didn't come all too natural, like she always thought. Convinced he cursed her a long time ago, Morpheus Oneiroi offers to help. Known to occasionally cure children's sleepless nights with his father Hypnos, the twenty-six year old, tall, dark man is nothing like his reputation. He is rather difficult to work with, at least for Charlie. Yet, one taste of a normal life was enough for her to put their difficulties aside and go on an adventure, she ought to never forget- despite having her memory erased quite a few times...
