"What's your name?" I decided not to answer. In fact, I decided not to talk at all. I don't care that he's my mate, he is holding me against my will. I need to leave. I need to keep moving. 

If I don't talk, maybe he'll give up and let me go. I look away and sigh.

"Okay, not ready to share that yet. That's fine." He nodded. "Where are you from?" 

Silence.

"How old are you?"

Silence. 

"What are you doing in this area?" 

Silence.

I look over towards him, anger etched on my face. 

He bites his cheek and glares.

"I know you can speak. I'm not going to hurt you. Just, at least tell me your name." He begged. 

Silence.

He groaned and stood up. Before he walked out the door, he smirked, "Alright then. You want to be mute? That's fine. I can wait. I have all the time in the world. And now, so do you". He teased and I narrowed my eyes at him as he walked out the door, shut it, and locked it.

His arms reached out pulling me to his form rather than the ground and I clutched onto his top as sparks danced on my skin everywhere we made contact. I couldn't help my instincts as I breathed in his scent feeling my muscles relax and my head go light. "You're an idiot to be begging for someone you don't even know." He looked at my bloody palm that now gripped his grey shirt properly staining it. I released my hold on him trying not to cringe at the pain in my palm but I was never good at hiding my emotions. "Idiot." He stated again staring at me.
