As a single tear falls down my face, I see multiple police men running towards the man from behind. But relief doesn't wash over me like you'd expect, instead I feel like I'm drowning. And as people swarm around me, as police tackle him with hand cuffs, I fall. And as I fall I see Mason, laying there in the corner with two policemen by his side. He stays still in a pool of blood, his face a gray I've never seen before. So I fall until I can't fall any more, until I can't remember.

I placed the rose down on the coffin, it's just hard to believe that my twin brother is no longer with us. As tears fell down my face I stepped back and walked outside to get some fresh air. I let the cold winter air blow in my face as I shivered a bit. I looked out to the water, hoping that this all would be a dream, I mean it has to be right. He can't really be gone? Can he? "Katelyn?" My younger brother Jamie asked as he broke into my thoughts. "Mhm." I mumbled as I wiped my tears away. "Are you okay?" He put his hand on my shoulder, and brought me into a side hug. "I don't know." I said as I played with the side of my black sweater. "Will I ever be okay?" I said as I began to sob. Love, lost and moving on
