CC is where heroes goes to learn the rules, where networking to find sidekicks occurs and students generally just learn how to be, well, a super hero.
Melisande (Mel, Lisa, or Andy, never Melisande) is trying to navigate CC, whilst making friends, trying to not die in citizen saving 101, and seeing if she can finally control her random shifts. Random shifts are so last season.

She does everything she can to do the right thing, even if she can't do much. When she meets a hero with good morals, she decides she wants to help him out. He's not running around wasting his energy on small things. He knows that these people won't get anywhere if they can't do simple things on their own.
