Unheard

The Calamity is a curse. It causes devastation to every race, takes the lives of many and destroys landscapes. It never ends until the world had been destroyed, the End.

There was a prophecy of four heroes who will arrive in the time of the Calamity, saving the world from the End. If they fail, Maho will be destroyed. Sacrifices are done to summon the Heroes.

However...there was one problem...

"What do you mean they're already here?!" The King demanded. His Majesty's anger slid off the High Priest like water on a duck's fur while the rest of the Healers shivered at his wrath. In fact, he even looked amused.

"You mistook one warlock as a witch" he started. "We were successful in summoning them, so our sacrifices were not in vain. But..." he trailed off. He doesn't want to hear ringing in his ears again, dear lord.

"But?"

"Will you not shout once I finish my sentence?" The King nodded.

"They went somewhere else and we have no clue where"

"WHAT?!"

Birds suddenly flew off the building in a panic. Ah, his ears are ringing again.
