The sailors's work calloused hand slid down gently grasping her chin. He tilted Mira's face up so she was forced to meet his gaze.He seemed to be studying her curiously, His look held an emotion she couldn't place. Mira could see it vividly in his gaze, it wasn't pity, but something else. He spoke calmly as his eyes left Mira's to travel out over the rail's edge to the bonnie sea.
