Poem regarding the thoughts going through my head during a Biology dissection lab and the struggles of education conflicting with your ethical beliefs.
I did not actually actively participate in the chick embryo dissection and simply observed my lab partner as he dissected it.  Regardless, it was still very emotional and I was extremely stressed out throughout the entire thing so wrote this poem to express how I felt.All Rights Reserved

Even if he had he would have gone through with it, but the lack of options had always made him sick, left him cold. It's the same now, and he knows that Duen already knows that, too. Guilt, though, tastes like bile on his tongue anyways. Duen's still in school, has three years of interning at the clinic left ahead of him. They'd had a plan, and this wasn't it.

(i had to update the description it was so cringe) poetry. its like the definition of wearing your heart on your sleeve, except its writing it on your fingertips and breathing it in and out. this is a collection of poems i've written, earliest being from 2020 and then just updating whenever i write something ! the first like 10-15, possibly 20 are bad but once you go on it gets better, once you reach mid-2022 youre good and then 2023 onward youre awesomesauce (once i stopped capitalizing titles i got better just 90% go off of that) highest rankings: #1 in poems (November 10th, 2021) #14 in poetry (April 28th, 2022)
